No, it doesn’t, it makes this very convenient for you and others in the UTC timezone. Why shouldn’t I insist it be GMT?
GMT is equal to UTC.
From my perspective, these are two competing bills, and the reality is one of these proposals is vastly superior. If anyone hasn’t tried out the @time feature on Discord yet, go to #coconut-grove and do it (I just did) and you’ll see it’s fairly intuitive to use.
I just did, except I was on mobile, and it was not really intuitive why it didn’t work 
touche. I did it on desktop, which maybe makes a difference.
