Nation: Promethian aristocratic republic
System: Cappadocia
Planet: Cirta
Image (not mandatory):

Biogeography:
Cirta is a desert planet orbiting a F class star in the latter stages of it’s life. It has no surface oceans but has running rivers and underground lakes. It has very little homegrown life and most of it is being outcompeted by species imported from the Gaian empire.

Culture and history: Cirta was originally colonized by the Gaian empire late in it’s existence because of being rich in certain critical minerals and other resources. However with the fall of Gaia the colony became isolated, and with it being dependent on imports civilization soon collapsed. The survivors picked up a mostly nomadic lifestyle, but some cities have formed around rivers and aquifers. Cirtians, often also called sand walkers, are a very religious people who value water greatly. Because of the collapse destroying most data on the planet the Gaian empire quickly became mythologized, with even prophesies developing that one day people will return from space and take them back to the stars. That prophecy was unknowingly fulfilled by Promethia in the year 250 AG when they established control in the system and landed on the planet. Nowadays Cirtians hold to their old religion and form a disproportionately large part of the Stellum Militum, with the 2nd Cirthian spaceborne battalion, also known as the “Desert rose” being reputable as the most elite unit in the nation. They’re often used as de facto special forces, but specialize in arid warfare

Politics:
Cirtia has a reputation for it’s senators being politically conservative and opposing the policy of isolationism. There have for now only been 2 Cirtian consuls and

Industry:
Cirtia is predominantly a mining world, producing much of the republic’s supply of rare earth metals as well as mining cascadium, although it is not very prominent on the planet.

Importance:
Cirta is a core mining world and because of that economically and strategically very important.

Nation: Krondel Hossreach
System: Mitlede
Planet: Träuseid
Image (Current):

Biogeography:
The atmosphere of Träuseid has completely burned away, leaving behind a charred, barren, and dead planet. Anything that once lived on this planet certainly doesn’t anymore.

Culture and history:
Träuseid was a rogue planet and the native home to the formerly “nomadic” species now known as the Krondel, before becoming stuck in close orbit around the hating star Mitlede. The Krondel who lived on it were peaceful and elegant, while being well adapted to living in the dark. Despite the unusual circumstances they evolved in the Krondel were able to obtain technological prowess before the height of the Gaian empire. Due to a combination of ignorance and arogance, the Krondel were unable to avoid the tragic loss of life at Mitlede, and those who managed to flee were left twisted creatures by the cost of survival.

Politics:
Träuseid was home to a scholar-led meritocracy in which the best and the brightest were the most likely to succeed and gather political power. Those who struggled in school were given access to an extensive tutoring network to help them learn to the best of their ability.

Industry:
The leading industry of Träuseid was extra-planetary mining, which became necessary to avoid permanently depleting the planet of natural resources. Other significant industries included vertical farming and metal working.

Importance:
Träuseid was the most important planet to the Krondel (being their only planet), and even today is unmatched in terms of reverence. Today it has become a major religious symbol, and the last sight of the executed.
