@Legislators of the South Pacific,

There has been a seconded motion to adopt the modified proposed amendment to the Elections Act, to alter the dates in which elections take place for the Offices of the Delegate, Prime Minister & the Chair of the Assembly. The debate thread can be found here.

This is an amendment to constitutional legislation, according to the Legislative Procedure Act, requiring a majority greater than 60% to pass. The voting period will be 5 days, thus concluding on Tuesday, November 21st.
