The Republic has a consistant ranking system despite the hundreds of different members. It’s a remnant of the Rebellion and because their militaries can combine under a single command in case a serious Republic-wide threat emerges.

SECTION ONE

DEFINITIONS

  1. ‘Void Superiority’ is defined as being able to effectively hold space from opposing Strike Craft. Examples of such include loitering munition clearing, area denial, and the elimination of enemy supporting assets (Early Warning, OPFOR Strike Craft, et. al).

  2. A Void Superiority Fighter (VSF) refers to a Strike Craft designed to provide Void Superiority, in a pure vacuum environment. VSFs prioritize exo-atmospheric flight over inter-atmospheric flight, and in an emergency can enter atmosphere.

  3. An Air Superiority Fighter (ASF) refers to a Strike Craft designed to provide Air Superiority, in either vacuum or air breathing environment. ASFs prioritize inter-atmospheric flight over exo-atmospheric flight.

  4. A Void Early Warning and Control (VEWAC) refers to a Craft designed to provide early warning through Radar, Signals Intelligence, Thermal, and other means.

  5. A Bomber refers to a Strike Craft designed to deliver heavy ordinance such as bombs, torpedoes, loitering munitions, and missiles.

  6. A Multi Domain Operations Craft (Ubiquitously ‘Skiff’) refers to a Craft designed to perform many tasks within a vacuum and atmosphere. Specific items include spec ops deployment, gunship, light cargo delivery, inter and exo atmospheric assault…

working on a potential RP based on a Compact Real Time Strategy Video Game, Battlenet. The game revolves around two major PVP game modes, split into teams up to ten that usually don’t exceed four.

Game Modes

Minor Powers - Takes place in the orbital vicinity of a gas giant. Both sides control fixed headquarters on opposite sides of the gas giant. Games can take upwards of two hundred hours. Allied reinforcements can be called in through reinforcement vectors.

Major Powers - Takes place inside one solar system. Both sides control fixed headquarters on opposite sides of the star(s). Games can take upwards of a thousand hours. There are no allied reinforcements, but plentiful resources.

Both sides must take care of crew morale, logistics, fleet intelligence, and fleet building in order to effectively engage and win fights. This game is heavily promoted by the Compact Navy as a training aid, and most people stick to playing it after leaving the service due to forming teams and rivalries that form in the service.

What is ya’lls most elite military unit? Mine are the Commandos. They are my favorite element of my worldbuilding so far.

At this point in the canon the temple guard, after demon hunt starts the exorcists (both are branches of the warrior priests, the hataloqueltar. Best comparison to the hataloqueltar overall are probably the spartans from halo and the space marines from Warhammer)
