I think what he means is that we don’t have powers yet (or at least I don’t?) so I can’t really do my job
Have you asked the Prime Minister to reallocate the Regional Officers to include you?
Have you, in the interim, asked another Cabinet minister, or the Delegate, to act on your behalf when regional powers need to be used?
Have you focused on duties and initiatives that do not require Regional Officer powers instead?
Not yet.
Then, respectfully, I don’t think its fair for you to assume you deserve regional officer powers or assume that your job requires it just because you have a title.
I am sure this can be worked out with the PM. In my view, the MoC needs at least polls power to be able to do their job effectively.
Lol
That’s what I meant.
Read in context of the ensuing discussion, the Chair sees this as a poorly phrased attempt to raise the question of whether the MoI and MoC are adequately empowered to discharge their duties. Thus, while not technically spam, the Chair encourages Legislators to articulate their points clearly so that others may engage with them, rather than posting ambiguous and vapid comments.
My fault Welly.
