[2533.AP] Status of pending citizenship applications

Distinguished Members of the Citizenship Committee:

It has been brought to my attention that some citizenship applications have yet to be processed, raising concerns among applicants about whether their applications will be approved in time for the upcoming elections.

As a legislative inquiry, I request that the Committee provide an update to the Assembly on the current status of pending applications and confirm whether they will be processed in time before the elections. I am especially concerned about the three applications submitted in late June (Aryzia (Aryzia), Qaz (Qaweritoyu), jogadordr.0243 (Red Vanguard)) which are still awaiting approval.

I will have time to review the applications before the election. I can’t predict whether we will find it necessary to request any additional information from applicants though if they respond reasonably quickly then I anticipate I’ll be able to process that before the election as well.
