In the last weeks, the pirating situation in the Gulf of Good Omen in Southern Cordilia has only worsened, with multiple sovereign nations launching their own navies to protect merchant ships from attacks.

While the Gulf of Good Omen continues to fill with ships to control the situation, most Rhaynan sea transport companies have opted to taking the alternative route through the north of Cordilia.

When asked about the situation, the Minister of Interior stated that “the United Provinces would not be sending the navy to the Gulf of Good Omen”

“It would take more resources than what we could recover from helping the ships go through the Gulf of Good Omen, so for the moment we have recommended any Rhaynan ships to take the northern route, and we will monitor the situation closely, but we won’t intervene directly.”
