Attention Krautallaz Residents: This is a notification from the North Krauanagaz Army stationed at Joint Base Krautallaz.
Due to unscheduled live-fire artillery activity within the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), residents in the Krautallaz area are advised to take precautionary measures. Please be aware of the following instructions:
- Shelter-in-Place: If you are at home, remain indoors during the duration of the live-fire drills. Find a secure location within your residence away from windows and external walls.
- Basement or Safe Room: If you have access to a basement or a designated safe room, please relocate there for added protection.
- Stay Informed: Keep a communication device, such as a radio or smartphone, nearby to stay informed about the ongoing situation. Follow official announcements for updates.
- Emergency Kit: Ensure you have an emergency kit with essentials such as water, non-perishable food, first aid supplies, and any necessary medications.
