SPSF Service Reports

Hello hello you cool defenders!

Yet another month?! Wow, this is my third monthly service report! Let us dive into June’s stats; this month has been truly juicy, at least compared to May and April! I would even say that this month truly shows that the SPSF is the coolest navy in the whole of NS!

Let’s check those stats; I have to thank you all for making my calculations so outrageous that I didn’t even know if I was doing them right at the moment:

Monthly Statistics

Statistic This Month Trend Monthly Change Percentage Change
Updaters 20 +4 +20%
Updates 53 +7 +15.22%
Defenses 559 +524 +1498%
Detags 278 +117 +72.68%

Notable Operations

With these stats, we can safely say that this month has seen a high level of activity, with a large number of defenses (chasing) and detags being carried out by some of our best defenders (we’ll know who they are soon enough, they truly deserve some ribbons!). 559 defenses is an impressive number!

Regarding liberations, this month has been characterized by the SPSF’s involvement in the region of Arkana Coalition. The coalition of raiders has shown us some pretty high numbers, but it didn’t stop us from sieging the region 4 times with relatively high numbers for the SPSF: 10, 13, 13 and 12. I’d only hope for at least 50 SPSFers, we’d be truly unstoppable! The SPSF also helped to liberate 4 smaller regions.

June’s SPSF can’t even compare with May’s SPSF, and much less to how it found itself back in April. We’re seeing some pretty high activity from our navy, and I’m pretty glad to say that we’re doing great, good job everyone! But let’s keep going! This will be hard, but it would be great to have three months of increasing activity and number of operations.

New SPSF Members

The SPSF also has had new members join its ranks in June! I’m pleased to welcome @North, @zeph and @Parenthos to the SPSF! I’ve already seen that you are great additions to the navy’s ranks!

Latest Promotions

In June two of the SPSF’s most proficient Cadets, that had only joined in late April and May, recieved their Ensign promotions. I’m sure you’ve seen the individual post, but if you haven’t, click here and congratulate their great effort! After all, getting a promotion in just one or two months is an incredible feat, however you may see it!

It’s pretty clear to see who’s been carrying the SPSF lately, especially this last month! I’m really proud of you, Eshialand, @Banexet and @Coltranius!

If you want to know about your impressive stats individually, they are the following

Eshialand: 45 updates, 254 detags and 529 defenses.
Banexet: 37 updates, 247 detags and 252 defenses.
The Lombard League: 22 updates, 22 detags and 212 defenses.

Good job to you three, again, and as for everyone else, do not feel sad, your numbers were still pretty high, so I’m happy that you’ve been doing such a great effort for the SPSF! Then again, I invite you all to surpass these numbers above if possible, and to keep doing your best, or even more!

Tidal Force Recap

The Tidal Force has been inactive in May, due to RoTWW’s request to pile up on their region to support their delegate’s governor transition. This mission will most likely be reupdated to ensure that the piling effort is going correctly.

Contact and Conclusion

The SPSF has seen a surge of activity this last month, with a difficult liberation on the way and TONS of chasing, it is safe to say that our regional navy has done its best, or at least close to it in terms of performance. We’ve kept our presence in almost every single update this month. Let’s keep showing others in NS that we take our job seriously; and that raiders deserve getting bonked! >:)

Please, if any of you have any questions, suggestions or concerns, message me over here or discord! I’m always around, and I’m always open to any suggestions in order to keep the SPSF just as awesome as it always has been.

If what the SPSF does looks interesting to you, we’re always welcoming new members! You can apply here.

Vrigny signing off, see you all on the next SPSF Service Report!

Hey there, cool defenders!

It looks like that August 1st has finally arrived; that means that it is the end of my term as MoD! …at least de-facto; hopefully the confirmations won’t take too long and our new elected Coalition is able to begin their duties soon enough! This also means that this is the last Service Report by my hands, I hope they were all interesting and detailed enough to give them a read and learn about the SPSF’s situation during my term!

It has been an honor to serve as TSP’s Minister of Defense. I was hesitant at first about taking such a position, since I didn’t really know much about what the MoD did, but learning is part of the job, and in the end, I’m glad that I took the opportunity! Especially since the SPSF kept moving on forwards, with a large presence in the many different operations we led during the past four months.

While not everything has been perfect, I’d say; considering I did promise several things prior to the start of my term as part of a simple campaign, with some of them not being fulfilled as much as I would have liked; it’s clear that the SPSF has grown: it’s numbers have been high, and we’ve gotten new, experienced recruits, which will now help to run our regional army thanks to their incredible skill!

Let’s see how the SPSF’s stats look like for the month of July; June truly was a crazy active month, and it would be incredibly difficult to surpass or even match those numbers again, but it’s a challenge I’m willing to set for the future, incoming, SPSF!

Monthly Statistics

Statistic This Month Trend Monthly Change Percentage Change
Updaters 17 -3 -15%
Updates 54 +1 +1.89%
Defenses 241 -318 -56.89%
Detags 593 +315 +113.31%
Supports 229 +227 +11,350%

Notable Operations

Wowzers, it looks like the SPSF’s activity during this last month also increased compared to the month of June! Despite a sharp decrease in the number of defenses (chasing), the SPSF has also strongly increased the number of other kinds of operations, such as detags and supports. The latter of which, I decided to finally include in the table on the top simply due to the high quantity of supports and premoves the SPSF and defenders have been doing for at least 3 months now.

Liberations! Everyone loves them (except raiders, I guess, but I don’t care about their opinion). Last month I wrote about the SPSF’s involvement in the region of Arkana Coalition; despite our high numbers and many sieges, we were no match for the raiders during that time. We kept our surveillance over the region to ensure the raiders didn’t refound and effectively capture the region forever; and this effort proved fruitful in the end. On the 26th of July, Arkana Coalition was liberated by defenders! Good job, guys! This month was a great one; other than Arkana Coalition, the SPSF contributed to the liberations of 8 other, smaller regions!

This month, the Defender Olympics were held. With different wargames and tests, those who participated had their skills tested! Despite the SPSF not winning any medals, it was still cool to see! On another hand, this month was also the Raidercon, which explains the high number of supports (to prevent them from raiding larger regions) and detags (to get rid of their filthy raidercon tagging)!

I should also mention that the SPSF has been helping out for the transition effort that’s ongoing in the Realm of the Whispering Winds (RotWW). This has been ongoing for weeks, but things have been going swimmingly in that operation, at least!

With this crazy activity, it’s not hard to say that I’m very proud of how much the SPSF has improved during my term. Clearly, I couldn’t have done this without any of you, after all, the SPSF’s greatest trait is the incredible dedication and skill of all of its members. Keep going, guys! As my last order or statement as MoD, I want you all to continue like this during the term of our next MoD!

Looks like July’s monthly ribbons go to several of SPSF’s most active and skillful members, which is not surprising at all! Congratulations to @Banexet, Eshialand (@Klysevia), @Coltranius, @Pronoun and @Parenthos (the last of which only joined the SPSF on the start of the month, so pretty impressive!)

If you want to know about your great stats individually, they are the following:

Eshialand: 31 updates, 244 detags, 118 defenses.
Banexet: 40 updates, 384 detags, 218 defenses.
The Lombard League: 8 updates, 55 detags, 18 defenses.
Pronoun: 4 updates, 0 detags, 18 defenses.
Parenthos: 15 updates, 205 detags, 10 defenses.

Good job, you all! I guess that your stats are always impressive, so I bet it was no surprise to see you get the ribbon yet another month! As for everyone else, keep going! I would dare you to compete against Drew (Banexet) and Eshia for those stats, but no matter what, y’all have done a great job!

Tidal Force Recap

The Tidal Force is in need of another revitalization. Ever since the initial order of piling up in RotWW, which I think was too early considering the actual transition only began recently, the Tidal Force has been technically inactive, or in more excuse terms: “helping the piling effort in RotWW”. I do not have a record of how effective this has been, but once the RotWW transition, I expect the Tidal Force to return to its activities.

Contact and Conclusion

This last report pretty much signals the conclusion of my term as MoD. With surge after surge of activity within the SPSF, I’m glad to say that we’re one of NS’s largest and most relevant, if not NS’s largest and most relevant defender organizations. It’s safe to say that the SPSF changed quite a bit compared to the start of my term on April, and that change seems to be positive! This is just an opinion of mine, but I guess it’s based on our great statistics we’ve been consistently pulling off and improving along the four previous months!

Having said that; in a more objective part of the conclusion for July: the SPSF has participated in plenty of detags and supports due to Raidercon, as well as the vigilance and final liberation of Arkana Coalition, which have been the main focus of this month. Despite a decrease in chasing, the SPSF managed to attend even a higher number of updates; out of a possible 62 updates, the SPSF was present in 54 of them, meaning that we were around to bonk raiders 87% of the time on July!

This is pretty much it for my term as MoD! It has been a great time. I’m not the one to judge how well I did, though! If you have any opinions or comments about things that could have been done better or other things that need improvement, please say so; they could help the next MoD, since the SPSF will keep doing its duties! I’m just glad that, compared to the start of April and now, the importance of Defense in TSP politics has increased quite a bit; the SPSF is an important part of our region and we must nurture it to the best of our ability!

If what the SPSF does looks interesting to you, we’re always welcoming new members! You can apply here.

Vrigny signing off. I hope my term and actions as MoD met your expectations!
Cheers!

Hello everyone!

This is going to be the first report I’ve ever written, and I’m very excited to present you what the SPSF has bene up to during my first month as Minister of Defense.

This first section is going to be dedicated to the Tsunami Force.

…I’m not good at all at presenting things and making long speeches, so let’s just jump into the statistics!

Monthly Statisics

Statistic This Month Trend Monthly Change Percentage Change
Updaters 17 = +0 0%
Updates 55 +1 +1.85%
Defenses 124 -117 -48.55%
Detags 662 +69 +11.64%

Notable Operations

Looking at the statistics, this month has been even slower than July, with “only” 124 defenses during August. There were a good amount of liberations to be done though: in the first half of August we had 6 liberations (even though all of them haven’t posed any major problem to us). After this period we’ve had around 10 days of a complete lack of chasing, leaving defenders with only detags to do. I guess raiders also go on vacation :p. Approaching the end of the month we’ve seen a return of both tagging and occupation raids and consequent chasing and 3 more liberations.

Looking more specifically at liberations, this month we’ve had a total of 9 small-sized liberations and no big liberations to do. The SPSF managed to be the most/one of the most contributing orgs for almost all these liberations, having the most updaters out of any org in 2 of them (with 5 and 7 members updating respectively).

New SPSF Members

This August the SPSF has seen 5 new recruits in its ranks: please give a warm welcome to @Oseao, @enzbrvvr, @TheRepofLusadao and @Vernonia in our military force! Also we would like to welcome in the SPSF back @Roavin, who decided to join back after a long absence!

Congratulations to @Klysevia, @Banexet, @Coltranius and particularly to @Oseao, who, despite having joined only in the 18th of August, managed to appear in all the three cathegories, coming even first in the “Defenses” one.
Here are the numbers in detail.

Updates: Eshialand. The Lombard League: 26, Oseao: 23.
Detags: Eshialand: 452, The Lombard League: 238, Oseao: 117.
Defenses: Oseao: 87, Drew Durrnil: 65, The Lombard League: 61.

That’s all for the Tsunami Force, now onto the…

Tidal Force Recap

That’s right! After some months of “inactivity” due to the “Realm of The Whispering Winds” support, the Tidal Force is back operating! Apart from ordinary detags, this August the Tidal Force has supported The League for a delegate transition, Empire of Australia for influence matters needed for a Stronghold transition and now is supporting A Taco Paradise to prevent any raid tentatives from The Black Hawks during the repeals of their condemnations for retailation (if you’re wondering why would The Black Hawk seek revenge for the repeal of a condemnation, it’s because raiders see condemnations like we defenders see commendations: those are badges of honour, and we don’t believe The Black Hawks, despite being a raider organization, deserves it).

We’ve also introduced the new Tidal Force Ranks based on the historical participation in this organization! These for now are experimental, but in the next months we will work on them in more detail and stabilize them. For now, these are:

25 missions - Midshipman
50 missions - Mate
100 missions - Frigate Captain
200 missions - Commodore
400 missions - Rear Admiral.

As previously announced, this month the Ministry of Defense is introducing the…

We’re going to have 3 cathegories for the Tsunami Force and 1 cathegory for the Tidal Force. These rankings will be based on how many updates for the Tsunami Force/missions for the Tidal Force each member has participated in. Please congratulate the winners of the monthly card giveaway. Soon the cards will be sent to the consignee. If you also want to win a Legendary Card, then participate in as many updates/missions as you can, and you will be rewarded next month.

Conclusion

Well, that’s it for this month’s recap, thanks for sticking in with me and I hope you’ve enjoyed the read. I’d say this month has been pretty much a stable month, with nothing of particularly big importance coming up in defenderdom.

If you aren’t a member but you are interested in becoming one, then you can always apply here: you just need to check the “I want to join the SPSF” box and file in all the information we request.

That’s all for this month, see ya for the next recap!

Notable Operations

Welp… we can confidently say that this month hasn’t been one of the most active. The only statistic that grew was the updaters one, in contrast to every other one falling down (particularly Defenses and even more Detags).
We can explain the rise in Updaters by the Kelios occupation that occurred during the first days of September and lasted throughout most of the month.

Around the 5th of September raiders from many different organizations led by Sparkalia united forces and decided to occupy Kelios to open checks notes an “Omori” fanclub (whatever that is). For some days defenderdom tried to liberate this region from the invasors, but after 2 days commanders deemed impossible to further disrupt raider operations in the region and opted to submit a libinjunct for the region.
After weeks of quietness on the fronts, during the Minor Update of the 26th of September, raiders tried to clear out Kelios and refound it, hoping to take complete control over it and make it completely impossible to be liberated. Our brave defenders (including our SPSFers) managed to stop the refounding process in a very tight battle and liberated Kelios from raider forces.
(NOTE: it isn’t signed on the liberations statistics because refound operations are managed in closed, separate channel from the main one)

So, closing this excursus, we were talking about the stats and why they’re so low respect to August. for the Updates, aside from the fact that September has 1 day less than August, during the second-half of September a particular event occurred: World Assembly applications broke. WA apps are fundamental for the R/D gameplay, as our puppet nations need to be in the WA during updates to be able to operate. This of course caused a decrease in update participation.

Now onto Defenses and Detags… I could explain the Defense decrease mainly by stating the fact that this month once again hasn’t been very active in terms of chasing (probably because of Kelios), and furthermore I’ve seen this month some pretty high numbers of participation in these updates from the raider part, which could have very well caused the decrease of defenses. Regarding the Detags, probably I could say that, being June and July very busy chasing months, during August there has been a lot of time to clear all the remaining tagged regions from those two months. This month instead detags were largely based on this month’s tags.

Considering these factors, we can say that the decrease of this month’s activity isn’t actually a bad factor, because it means that raider activity has also decreased during these months. Everything balances out in the end.

New SPSF Members

This September the SPSF has seen 2 new recruits in its ranks: please give a warm welcome to @puppypropaganda and @UnitedDisneyStates!

Tidal Force Recap

This month has been quieter for the Tidal Force. For almost all September in fact we’ve had a support for a frontier (A Taco Paradise) of one of our treaty allies (10000 Islands), as this month there have been the 2 “Condemn The Black Hawks” repeals, and we decided to prevent a possible retailation raid from said region to ATP (which is a pretty vulnerable region on itself). On the end of the month we’ve moved to Kelios after its liberation to allow the owners of the region to get back in power without any problem.

Now it’s time for the…

Card Giveaways

And it’s time for the card giveaways everyone! Unfortunately for the Tidal Force, this month tere won’t be any giveaway since we’ve participated in only two missions, and I can’t gift a legendary card to everyone who participated :stuck_out_tongue:
So, for the most updates attended cathegory (Legendary card for the first two, epic card for the third), we have already seen the winners:

@Vernonia, who will win a S3 ATLANTIARIV
@Coltranius, who will keep one of is epic cards

For the most Major updates attended (Legendary Card for first placed, Epic for second and third), we have…

@Vernonia (with 16 major updates attended), who will get a S3 Headingtonia
@Banexet (with 10 major updates attended), who will get a S3 Flanhezria

For the most Minor updates attended (Legendary Card for first placed, Epic for second and third), we have…

@Oseao (with 23 minor updates attended), who will get a S2 Topid
@Vernonia (with 16 minor updates attended), who will get a S3 Goddess Relief Office
@Coltranius (with 13 minor updates attended), who will again keep one of his epic cards

Please congratulate the winners of the monthly card giveaway. Soon the cards will be sent to the consignee. If you also want to win a Legendary Card, then participate in as many updates/missions as you can, and you will be rewarded next month.

Conclusion

Well, that’s it for this month’s service report. Thanks everyone for sticking out with me through this read and I hope you enjoyed it. This month has been overall less active respect to the previous months, but, as I’ve already explained, it’s actually not a bad thing.

Greetings, TSP defenders!

Reports are back? Hooray! Also, didn’t expect to see me writing a report yet again, hm? Well, it doesn’t matter! Let’s see how well the SPSF did this last November.

Notable Operations

The main notable events this last month are the Hell Detag Competitions that have been held by our organization. So far, GAS and ERN have also joined into the competition. What matters the most is that the SPSF is currently on the lead thanks to @Heliseum!

Another detail from the month is that the Purple Pony Club (PPC) disbanded after their final tagging run on the major update of the 30th.

Conclusion

The SPSF continues a relatively calm period, at least compared to previous years. However, this month has seen generally a higher level of activity on our hand than the previous one, due to a higher number of updaters and updates attended. However, in conclusion, the SPSF still needs to try to find a way to improve these results some more.

If what the SPSF does looks interesting to you, we’re always welcoming new members! You can apply here.

Liberations 104 94 -10 -9.62%

It seems like the SPSF has shrunk in strength, losing 14 updaters in 2025, compared to the year prior. However, the SPSF assisted to more updates than in 2024, making sure to fend off raiders for 683/730 = 93.56% of all possible updates in the year.

On another hand, the SPSF prevented raiders from tagging innocent regions 3406 times, and made sure to detag 2677 regions. They seem like pretty good numbers, especially if we consider the current state of raiderdom.

Finally, the SPSF took part in 94 liberations, very nice!

It seems like @Klysevia (Eshialand), @Heliseum and @Utopia (The Age of Utopia) really kept the SPSF alive in 2025, at least when it comes to activity. Impressive numbers they got there!

Who wants to appear in these stats for the 2026 Year-End Report? Well, work on it!

Conclusion

The SPSF continues to be alive, and considering the stats from above, it doesn’t seem to be doing that bad; not everything is on a downwards trend. Should we still trust these trends, though? After all, most of the numbers there were brought in by a small group of people, who have either been in the SPSF for long, or are high-ranking members of the organization.

What is most worrisome is the downwards trend of the number of updaters. By all means, the SPSF could be considered a smaller organization than it used to be years prior, having less active members than before. This must be rectified, by facilitating recruitment and training as soon as possible, but this is just my opinion, which is hopefully not a minority opinion.

Hello there, TSP defenders!

I have not forgotten about the reports! SPSF Service Reports will keep getting published! Let’s see how well our defender organization did this first month of 2026, even though the month was cut short due to an unprecedented hamster attack :hamster::hamster::hamster:

Monthly Statistics

Statistic This Month Trend Monthly Change Percentage Change
Updaters 9 +2 +28.58%
Updates 59 -3 -5.08%
Defenses 184 +81 +78.64%
Detags 86 -30 -25.00%
Liberations 5 -4 -42.5%

Notable Operations

There are no major operations to note this January. It’s been a pretty chill month, it seems, which is evidenced by the stats above. The month has consisted on some chasing rounds, mainly.

New SPSF Members

The SPSF is happy to welcome two new Cadets who joined this last month: @RepublicofEvania, @Hameed, @hitman200, @olivrser and @frFrance. Welcome to the SPSF!

We see the classics, @Utopia, @Heliseum and @awoogus (Ishmailand) score more ribbons on all categories yet again! Congrats to our hard-working sailors.

Conclusion

The SPSF continues a general trend compared to previous months. It’s not looking too fresh, but there’s been a nice wave of new recruits. We’re hoping to see you on the battlefield, to give the SPSF some of the glory it’s been lacking for a while now! Let’s hope to see a renewed SPSF soon enough. If NS even comes back online, let’s hope!

Hello there, TSP defenders!

New month, new SPSF Service Report! It seems that this report will be quite boring, considering the level of activity we’ve been seeing from the raiders. Unfortunately, the real world is seeing more Military “Gameplay” than us over in NationStates, and that shouldn’t be the case. Let’s see how the shortest month of the year went, cut even shorter than usual due to the hamster attack on the NS servers:

Monthly Statistics

Statistic This Month Trend Monthly Change Percentage Change
Updaters 4 -5 -55.56%
Updates 24 -35 -59.32%
Defenses 41 -143 -77.72%
Detags 2 -84 -97.67%
Liberations 2 -3 -60%

Jeez… with these numbers, it would be easy to say that the SPSF is in shambles. Let’s blame raiderdom instead, since they haven’t been allowing us to do anything! Is this what defender victory looks like?

Notable Operations

There were no major operations in February. Even a single normal chasing run was seen as something special to do, because there really was nothing to do for most of the month.

New SPSF Members

The SPSF is happy to welcome three new Cadets who joined this last month: @Hamborn, @Tin and @MYSTIC_KING_MANVIR. Welcome to the SPSF!

I win!! Good job everyone else, but these numbers are nothing to celebrate.

Conclusion

The SPSF has seen its worst month in years, it seems. Let’s say that it’s not 100% its fault, since this level of activity is to blame on raiderdom being essentially dead after the temporary NS shutdown during the first week of the month. The only way to see this is, we’ll see what happens in the future. We don’t know if raiders can get their stuff together, but we can try to improve our situation regardless.
