Nwahs for Delegate

Thanks for your question Fish. If I had to pick three reasons they would be the following:

  1. I am someone that the region can trust with the onsite role of Delegate without abusing its manifold powers, having held various positions that require a high degree of trust like Prime Minister, Coral Guard member, Election Commissioner, and CitComm member.
  2. Having had experience in various offices of the Coalition, I am someone who can work constructively and competently with any government of the day in my constitutional role as a ceremonial head of state, providing advice and working in tandem on cultural and integration goals to promote regional growth and activity.
  3. I will be an active Delegate gameside — I will interact with the RMB everyday, I will seek to grow our endorsement counts, and I will bring timely updates in the form of telegrams and dispatches.

Thanks for your question Tin. I have utmost respect for Penguin’s contributions to our region, and I wish her all the best in this campaign.

I would say that I take the office of Delegate extremely seriously, and I intend to serve out the remainder of this term making full use of my time to execute the agenda that I have put forward. I hope my campaign and platform is a demonstration of that, and that you will take this into account when voting.

Only if you’re of legal drinking age. I wonder what a mock SPIT would entail.

This is an important forumside tradition and I intend on committing to resetting it whenever possible.

What are some fun ways to have more of a roleplay element to your role as Delegate if elected to drive engagement and activity gameside? Previous candidates for Delegate have mentioned having state visits with the head of states of other regions. Is this something you’d consider doing? If so, how would you do it?

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

with other text here so i can post it

Thanks Langburn. I mentioned doing a State of the Coalition address in my platform, but head of state visits are also an interesting idea to explore as well and I will certainly discuss the possibility with the government. I think I’m far less inclined towards trying to roleplay as a “Supreme Leader” or “Cake Emperor” or such things — I don’t think I have the sort of personality to pull that off, honestly? But I hope that people find me to be for the most part friendly and approachable.

Thanks Non-Believers. Like I mentioned previously, I have a lot of respect for Penguin’s many contributions to the Coalition, including her time as Delegate. I also really enjoyed Name 0’s 2 terms as RMB mayor and I believe that he will have a great career in TSP politics if he keeps things up and continues learning.

I believe that I am the most suited candidate for Delegate at the current moment, both in terms of capacity to take on the office with the seriousness that it deserves, and in terms of recent experience in various offices of the Coalition that require a high degree of trust to hold.

You could do a regional ice cream tasting tour?

This is more of a recent development but there’s a growing distrust of RMBers and the “govermental” bans of former-TSPers (If they can be called that), going further there might be misunderstandings regarding the delegate’s involvement/official positions on these bans. This is not a question persay but I want your thoughts on this.

(Note: I am part of TSP Moderation).

I think that the recent string of bans were unfortunately timed, and I understand that a lot of people were concerned and upset by them. I think a lot of what a Delegate can do is to contextualize the various roles in TSP to the gameside community, while not invalidating the concerns of regular RMBers. It feeds back into the broader theme that we require an all-of-region approach towards everything we do, i.e. not neglecting our gamesiders who don’t frequently check our forums or Discord when it comes to coming to or communicating decisions.

I would love ice cream flavor recommendations from anyone, and it could be a big part of any update dispatch/telegram series I launch.
