Information Broker Dossier 2-P1:
Kliegme Report
Kliegme’s diplomatic efforts to gain formal recognition from Stoinia have yielded an outstanding victory. The negotiation team presented an irrefutable argument to the Stoinians of independence from the major powers. This critical diplomatic maneuvering enhances Kliegme’s international standing and opens new avenues for collaboration and support. However, they are not able to gain military support nor further an economic agenda from the Stoinians, as the Stoinian government deems it logistically and financially unfeasible to support Kliegme from afar, and a support would lead to more flames in such a turbulent geopolitical weather. However they hinted at the possible prospect of financing Kliegme after the war.
Kliegme successfully cleaned house of enemy spies but with the chaos in the provisional government, it is still possible to infiltrate the Kliegmeans. As this was going the offensive in Vremyansk Oblast did well to distract the Frost armies, however the operation came at a price, with Kliegmean casualties reaching higher than expected.
Andrendia Report
The push for the Minister of Defense’s nuclearization proposal encountered a neutral reception. Despite the intense lobbying and internal maneuvering, the proposal did not gain significant traction. The house still could not shake off the costly development of a nuclear bomb, and that its development may further inflame the already strained geopolitical landscape. This outcome reflects the cautious approach of the Parliament towards nuclearization amidst current uncertainties.
The Andrendian public were fired up from the recent poll from the government. Although the government surveyors meant differently, articles spread like wildfire saying that the government is not in touch enough to respond to the crisis effectively, and not strong enough to strong-arm stronger nations. Showing weakness in the Andrendian public armour. This also caused a successful block of any and all products to and from the Frost empire, severely crippling an already sanctioned Frost Empire and the TCC’s most lucrative trade deal.
The uncertainty of the Andrendian government made them received but ignored. As major international partners could not take the Axolotl empire seriously.
Huawan Report
Huawan had a major difficulty in raising their royal marines. Although conscription helped with training more troops, the army is woefully undersupplied compared to its counterparts. The rest of her navy was also resupplied and primed for action in the Brevero sea, but a violent monsoon season in Huawan delayed their departure for days.
Frost counterintelligence worked tirelessly against the Huawanese. The Huawanese did not manage to rescue their spies as they have been moved away in an unknown location, and although they failed to establish a base of operations in Oured for now, they were able to gain more information about Operation Duskborne and possible other Frost operations. However, while looking through Frost’s nuclear capabilities, they were compromised. Not only does Huawan not know of Frost’s nuclear capabilities, but the Frost Empire now knew that Huawan has a nuclear bomb, the only foreign nation that knew.
Huawan also managed to establish an espionage base in Akarina and were spying on their increased mobilization. However the operation wasn’t as clean as the handler thought, and the Akarinans are fully cautious of any espionage efforts in the nation.
Yet the assessment of Izaakian nuclear capabilities was a resounding success. Many poached physicists from Huawan residing in Izaakia revealed of Izaakia’s ultra-secret nuclear potential, which was active and primed. This caused alarm in the Huawanese cabinet, as the Izaakians have strong arm in the crisis.
In the diplomatic front, the initiative to establish a direct communication line with Sedunn was moderately successful. Although a direct line between Heads of States are made, Huawan needs to be extra careful with their words to Sedunn in regards with the crisis. The same can’t be said with the Stoinians, although a direct channel is made, the communication cables are under maintained, it is possible that it will give out soon if not fixed.
Huawanese diplomacy also hit a turn. The ICC emergency meeting did not gather a desired support due to Huawan’s rapid mobilization and supposed bias. What’s more, the Ikaranarans, under threat from Frost, wholly refused any attempt of communication from the Frost unless Huawan should be lucky. The dignitary to the Rhaynans also did not manage to create substantial difference in their current war and aid came at a cost too high to bear for the Huawanese. The Midway populace were also angry at the Huawanese, as increased Huawanese immigration may cause chaos in such a difficult time for the island, islanders condemned the Huawanese diplomatic efforts.
The Huawanese did manage to sabotage other nations. Some operatives sent guns to the Finixi populace to fight back against Antarchan raids. Its operatives also met with the fathers of the Shai Kong independence movement, and their unwavering monetary and political support spelled the beginning to an end for Stoinian influence in Shai Kong. Rallying a support for the Huawanese agenda in central Cordilia. Despite so, the Kliegmean government, while accepting Huawanese aid, seeing Huawan as another Empire that may subjugate the young nation, completed their diplomatic efforts with great caution against the Huawanese.
Huawan managed to kick out the spies with precision. Destroying any infiltrations from other foreign states like Izaakia. However their plans had a flaw, one that was public. Unless things improve, Huawan may have difficulties in performing any counterintelligence. Huawanese intelligence is compromised.
Riled up by all the difficulties that Huawan experienced, another fiery speech in Parliament managed to rile up the government to maintain a stronger voice in the ICC. Huawan may have lost some of its diplomatic affluence, but it is still a worthy foe in the assembly.
Izaakian Report
Surprisingly, Izaakia managed to create a maritime exclusion zone to the surprise of the other belligerents, and althoough they successfully isolated the area, the move was seen as severely detrimental to both the ICC and the local populace. Possibly escalating the crisis even further. The escalation also successfully had them landing operatives in Government Island led by Commander James Bond. Furthermore, under the disguise of HSE workers, Izaakian operatives infiltrated the submarine base and were immune to Frost’s effort to mask the base being a geological research center. Not only did they knew the submarine base’s exact purpose, but they managed to plant many equipment too. Izaakian operatives also were hinted at “Operation Duskborne” from their counter espionage in Frost lands, but this also made them compromised to ONI operatives in Oured.
Their propaganda efforts fell down to deaf ears, after news of their MEZ in government island, they are unable to counter Frost’s initial propaganda, making them severely untrustworthy in the region. This led to a breakdown in diplomatic efforts with Sedunn and Frost, whom the latter despised Izaakia from a diplomatic fracas. Our sources say that Izaakian leading diplomat tried to eat sushi with a fork and ketchup, which sparked a massive outrage from Frost, undermining any effort for a diplomatic compromise.
Denvari Alliance Report
The attempt to mobilize the 1st “Northern” Fleet at New Emral resulted in moderate failure due to a lack of supplies and manpower. Despite efforts, the fleet’s readiness and deployment faced significant setbacks. However The mobilization of the 1st “Northern” Fleet at Cimbria was a critical success. The fleet is now fully operational and ready for deployment, marking a significant boost to naval capabilities and enhancing strategic positioning.
Our sources revealed that the effort to increase military presence on the Spirasian-Reizen border was mired with difficulties across the board. The planned military buildup did not proceed as intended, potentially leaving the border less fortified against Reizen. This also led to a massive breakdown of spying operations by ERIDA in Reizen and the sub pen. The former operation encountered severe challenges, leading to compromised results and increased difficulty in gathering intelligence on Reizen and making them compromised to not only Reizen but also ONI operatives.
The second diplomatic outreach to Sedunn regarding the current situation was a success. Coupled with a strong and fiery condemnation of the Frost Empire in the ICC, the Denvari Alliance was seen as a steady and even hand in diplomatic discussions. This engagement has strengthened diplomatic relations not only with the ICC and Sedunn, but also Stoinia, who received the Denvari well.
Sedunn Report
The dispatch to Stoinia, containing intel from aerial surveillance, did not sufficiently clarify the submarine situation, and the intended diplomatic message was not effectively communicated. This is particularly due to a coffee-stained document This failure also introduces Higurashi Contempt, increasing the difficulty of future joint diplomacy with Higurashi.
Yet the document was enough to form a joint staff operation with Stoinia, one of Sedunn’s most loyal allies. This collaborative effort has been well-received, enhancing strategic cooperation between Sedunn and Stoinia and facilitating a more coordinated response to the crisis.
The search and rescue efforts to look for the submarine is doing well. They managed to track the location of the submarine and are planning to perhaps find something. Meanwhile, the preparation of Airforce bases on the Remetulls to support the rescue task force hugely successful. The bases are now well-equipped and prepared to defend the task force from potential threats, ensuring enhanced protection and operational readiness of an increased heat around Government Island.
Sedunn also shared knowledge of the submarine pen with the Frost to varying success. While this move was intended to demonstrate Sedunn’s awareness and capability to act against Frost, the move didn’t do much to faze the Frost and influence their actions.
Yet the remarkable preparedness of the Remetulls was widely publicized by the world at the news spread like wildfire. The action cemented the idea that Sedunn will defend the previous accords and would not hesitate to respond militarily against Frost. In turn this benefitted Sedunn’s soft power, multiplying it greatly in the crisis as a fair hand
Yttria Report
A lack of individuals understanding Hinomoto made multiple communication difficulties with the Frost empire from the Yttrians. Creating a massive probability for mistranslation and difficulty of future diplomatic actions with the Frost Empire.
This in turn undermined deescalation efforts from the Yttrians, their lack of translators caused them to be held in contempt in the ICC and the international community. The widely publicized fracas from the Yttrians also soured their relations with local islanders in Midway.
Yet despite so, Yttrian deep-sea geologists unveiled a valuable insights into submarine deployment and operations, alleviating Frost’s propaganda and aiding Yttrian strategic planning of the situation. Despite so, we see that their intelligence is very much outdated.
Rhaynan Report
The Rhaynans did their best in asking for military technology, but through a sneaky economic maneuver from the Stoinians. Rhaynans got their oil and having little to nothing in return. The trade deal blunder have reduced Rhayna’s domestic economy in such a turbulent time. Yet the first step of Operation Vuris was successful, Rhaynan operatives managed to procure explosives and stockpile petroleum for operation Vuris. Operatives are ready to go with the second step of the plan
Frost Report
Dispatched ONI agents were supposed to accompany the diplomatic and military team to Ikaranara. However, we understood that one of our agents were captured and agent “J0” and “J117” are now keen to capture us and prevent these dossiers. How futile, I suppose they will not do much in the crisis.
Yet with the help of diplomats that did arrive safely. Frost secured more favorable terms, including basing rights and support against Akarina. While there is much to be done, it is an excellent foundation for Frost to keep Akarina in check.
The drill instructors failed to secure a ship due to increasing tensions between the empire and the international community, with ships being redirected to troop transport instead of diplomatic training missions. They were delayed. This is possible due to Akarinan interference.
For Operation Hush, the deployment of ONI agents for capturing spies in Reizen achieved moderate success. As marked with the disarray of Denvari spies in Reizen. However, despite excellent interrogation and torture methods, captured spies refused to yield information, creating a setback to Frost counterintelligence efforts. Yet with excellent wordsmiths, we have information that Frost is willing to release the captured spies in exchange for information, if the spies do not want to be executed. This tactic effectively pressured the other parties, enhancing Frost’s strategic leverage and potentially securing valuable intelligence.
For Operation Cautious Wind, The reinforcement of the garrison along the Reizen-Spiras border was moderately successful. This move bolstered Frost’s defensive posture, addressing concerns about Emeraldian aggression. Internally however, the reinforcements are underequipped and undersupplied by Reizen.
The preparation of the 8th fleet faced failure. The fleet was not adequately prepared to depart Ikrejin due to a severe lack of supplies and manpower, which may impact Frost’s naval readiness and response capabilities from Ikrejin.
Although Frost gave an impassionate speech in the ICC, diplomats boo the Frost diplomats as they were the ones that caused the crisis to begin with. A televised ICC discussion also unveiled that one of the Frost diplomats punched a Ryccian diplomat, and the entire team was held in contempt and exacerbating the crisis even further.
Moreover, Operation Fair Wind, what we see was a rescue attempt for the downed submarine, met with failure. Although they managed to locate the wreckage, they lost the signal to the depths of the Brevero sea. The fate of the downed Sedunnic seamen is lost to the depths.
Stoinia Report
Stoinia undertook a series of strategic economic, diplomatic, espionage, and internal actions to counter the influence of the Frost Empire and bolster its own position. However, the economic efforts to buy out oil reserves from Frost’s suppliers resulted in an overall outstanding failure across the board. Frost petroleum supplies are highly loyal to the empire and refuse to sell their stock to Stoinia. Moreover, while Stoinia managed to procure some fuel from Rhayna, Stoinia was sold shares for oil wells in Operation Vuris, which will soon be burned by the Rhaynans. Although Stoinia did well with the negotiations, the Rhaynans bamboozled the deal. Separately, attempts to acquire controlling shares in uranium mining companies and convince TCC city-states to allow competition in selling Kliegmean oil also failed, further impacting resource acquisition plans of Stoinia. Spelling an imminent disaster.
Widespread anti-Frost campaign continued in Stoinia that riled up the populace and fanned support for the Stoinian cause. Corinian weather control from Stoinian scientists was successful i its current phase. Both the propaganda and weather campaign still needed time and effort to complete.
Operation Guardian Tide was reported to be wildly successful, the Stoinians managed to gain intel on maritime surface movements with ease, and they did manage to convince the Ryccians to host Stoinian aerial reconnaisance resources in the Siculites. The sub patrols and a spy network in Reizen were also successful, though our reports unveil that it will take some time and effort until they complete their objectives.
The same could not be said of the Kingdom’s diplomatic efforts, which was a mixed bag. Although Mr. Tejero tried to organize a diplomatic party in the ICC, no one showed up, still upset at the Stoinian bias in the ICC and trying to evade from their sphere of influence. Although Stoinia improved relations with Ryccia, they were not very keen in taking a crack at the crisis and refused to back Operation Guardian tide, additionally they were also not keen in having Ryccian money and investments go towards the Stoinian war effort.
Stoinia tried to improve relations with Yttria to mixed results, the staunchly neutral Yttrians saw through the Stoinians, while the Yttrians warmly welcomed increased Stoinian relations, they were unconvinced to stand with the Stoinians. This caused Stoinian anti-frost propaganda to be seen negatively by the populace, while it may convince some of the Yttrian population t o be anti-frost, most are not convinced that seeing it from a biased Stoinian perspective is the correct thing.
Moreover, although the Stoinians managed to court TCC states loyal to the Frost Empire trade, they could not convince them to accept Kliegmean oil. Believing that the TCC will lose the lucrative trade contract with the Frost Empire. The Stoinian diplomats tried to bribe the TCC but are met with hostility. Since Stoinia refused economical help to Kliegme, the latter decided to refuse the sale of raw resources to Stoinia, thinking that it may damage the Kliegmean war effort.
Relations with Andrendia and Akarina are improved significantly, with a trade mission to the former. However despite the oil trade share with Rhayna, tensions continue. A shortage of interpreters to Rhayna yielded unfavorable results and failed to kickstart a trade mission.
Amidst increased tensions in Shai Kong, Stoinia installed spies against the Huawanese and try to regain influence against the Shai Kong independence movement. Thankfully however, the Stoinians managed to strong-arm the Frost Empire to join an ICC public hearing, the Frost will entertain this in the coming days in the ICC.
Ikaranara Report
The refusal to sell oil to Stoinia was somewhat of a failure. While the Ikaranarans successfully refused the Stoinians, the Stoinians managed to gain some petroleum from private suppliers. Severely diminishing key supplies from Ikaranara. Moreover, intensive bootlicking of the Frost narrative in regards to the submarine base not only disappointed the international community but also angered the Ikaranaran local populace against what they viewed was an Ikaranaran puppet government.
However experienced diplomats managed to convince the TCC to reduce trade volume with enemies of those against the Frost influence, the TCC, amused at the prospect, decided to award Ikaranara an exclusive trade contract that severely boasted its economical options for the ungoing crisis. Incensed, a complaint was given to the Akarinans, who accepted the complaint on the increased movement on the Bay of Spiders, though not much attention was given towards it.
The Ikaranaran minister of defense also launched a slow but steady effort to build up the Ikaranaran military for what may be an upcoming war in the region. The new republic managed to find soldiers to flock to the barracks, though it will be some time until they managed to field an army that could rival its neighbors.
Antarchi Report
The Finixians, with help from mercenary pirates managed to ambush the Antarchans and destroy the raiding soldiers. Moreover, the attack was publicized by a reporter and the subsequent outrage caused the international community to condemn the Antarchi.
Although the Antarchi managed to successfuly send more soldiers to the mines, they are not able to stockpile significant resources due to bad weather and horrid safety conditions.
The only silver lining was that a public endorsement of the Frost submarine pen may have further ostracized the Antarchi, but the Frost were amused and decided to give the Antarchi Empire their blessing and support in the coming months.
Ikoania Report
Ikoanian fleets try to move out of the harbor, but bad fuel had clogged up the engines and made them stationary in Ikoanian harbors. Internal propaganda against foreigners and the crisis incensed the populace against external influence and strengthening the Ikoanian government.
Ikoanian operatives tried to infiltrate the Frost intelligence network and was met with slight failure, they are unable to gain intelligence, however their extraction was clean and the Frost Empire was not aware of their attempt.
Meanwhile, the stockpile of fuel in Ikoania was a difficult affair. While they managed to secure a source, improper and inadequate refining technology may cause severe problems in the fuel’s usage unless resolved.
Finally, our sources reportedly said that Rohadek tried to look out the window for a good weather. But monsoon season diminished his hopes, and he was demoralized.
