EXCLUSIVE: Classified Documents Reveal Massive Theft of Military Weapons in Mitallduk; Thousands of Tonnes Reported Missing

According to classified Mitallduk Ministry of Defense documents obtained by The Scope, thousands of tonnes of weapons and ammunition were reported missing following a comprehensive inventory review conducted by the Mitallduk Defense Forces (MDF) earlier this year. The review was ordered by Mitallarkava Kullan after a retired submarine was stolen from a naval scrapyard and reportedly sunk by MDF naval forces on January 24.

The classified report indicates that the stolen weapons and ammunition included small arms, explosives, and even high-grade military hardware. This revelation comes as a significant blow to the Mitalldukish government, which has been battling escalating militant activity and civil unrest across the country.

One source working in the Krauanagazan diplomatic delegation in Mitallduk suggests that the missing weapons have raised serious concerns about their potential use in further violent incidents, which is likely on display in Southern Krauanagaz currently. One Federal Army source, who requested anonymity due to the sensitive nature of the information, said the situation has created considerable alarm within the Southern Cordilian Joint Counterterrorism Task Force (SCJCTF), which has been working to contain the growing threat posed by groups like Red K and the Messengers of Tallaz (MOT).

The theft and subsequent sinking of the submarine in January triggered an immediate investigation, leading to heightened security at naval installations and military depots across the country. However, the discovery of the missing weapons during the inventory review has exposed a critical gap in the MDF’s security protocols, raising questions about how such a significant amount of military hardware could go missing without detection.

In March, following a devastating Red K attack in the Mitalldukish capital of Ta’ana outside the Zuhlgani and Krauanagazan embassies, Mitallarkava Kullan committed 1,400 soldiers to the counterterrorism task force. The classified information regarding the missing weapons and ammunition was then shared with SCJCTF intelligence, highlighting the urgency of addressing the security breach. This revelation has led to increased pressure on the Mitalldukish government to strengthen internal security measures and conduct a more thorough investigation into the source of the theft. There are concerns that the stolen weapons have found their way into the hands of extremist groups, further fueling the violence and instability across the region.

The Federal Human Rights Commission (FHRC) has expressed concern over the potential humanitarian impact if these weapons are used in ongoing conflicts or terrorist attacks. Elowen Serak, the High Commissioner for Human Rights, emphasized the need for swift action to prevent further violence and ensure the safety of civilians.

The Mitallduk Ministry of Defense has yet to issue a formal statement on the matter and did not respond to requests for comment, but sources within the ministry suggest that a comprehensive review of security protocols and personnel is underway. Meanwhile, the SCJCTF has heightened its surveillance and intelligence operations to track the stolen weapons and prevent their use in future attacks.

Krauanaet Zharan’s office did not respond to requests for comment, nor did the SCJCTF press office.

As the investigation unfolds, the Mitalldukish government faces mounting scrutiny from both domestic and international observers. The potential consequences of this massive theft could be far-reaching, affecting not only Mitallduk’s internal security but also the broader stability of Southern Cordilia.
