Jay for PM!

I’ve answered this question. I think you missed it!

Thank you for the question, Langburn! Working to increase active recruiter counts is a major goal of mine.

So the first thing I actually did yesterday but haven’t announced it (later today) is implement a recruiter guide. This is a guide for new recruiters on how to do manual recruitment with Asperta, and will help recruiters instantly get into recruiting after joining the team.

Also, we will hold different advertising campaigns for people to join the recruitment team.

Another thing is that with the recruiter competitions that are coming up, it’ll encourage all recruiters to participate and actively recruit. With these recruitment competitions, they will receive prizes such as legendary cards and a placement in the national monthly MoI awards. Basically how they work is that we get Asperta report data for a desired timeframe and filter that information and make it usable through scripts.

If you’re wondering, the MoI awards are another plan I had and worked with people to implement as MoI. Basically, it’ll cover the RMB all the way to our government and recruitment team. Next awards (the May awards) are on June 1st, no matter if I do win the PM election or not.

Oh wait I already asked about it, sorry

i think you’ve got my vote!
one more thing if i may ask. what do you think your weaker areas // downsides of being PM are? be honest, honesty is a great trait to have in a leader!

Thank you for your support!

Honestly, I think one of my weaker areas is experience in some parts of the executive outside of culture and integration. Those are definitely the areas I’m most comfortable and familiar with. I haven’t spent time in FA like some other candidates have (since FA is such a difficult field to get into and learn). That said, I think I make up for that by being willing to listen to experienced people, collaborate effectively, and focus on keeping the government organized and active rather than trying to micromanage everything myself. I will try my hardest to work with my ministers to advance the goals of the cabinet and learn along the way. As I said in HS’s PM debate last term: I do not want to be a jack of all trades, master of none.

Good Phil’s Good Questions | PM Special Elections

I. If you were elected Prime Minister, what would you say are two major problems with the way TSP’s WA prominence and Delegate Voting Power is leveraged? How would you fix them?

II. With your burgeoning and welcome experience in R/D, Integration, and TSP’s governance, do you think an Executive led by you will succeed in:

  1. Powering the Flight of SWAN and proposing improvements to our WA Integration efforts?
  2. Enhance visibility of the offsite forum and Discord to the gameside through regular interaction, updates, and bridging the well-known divide between RMBers and Offsiters?
  3. Focus on building more strategic Defender-aligned alliances and provide a platform for newcomers to the 'Fenda scene to grow and develop their skills?

III. What would you say are the core priorities for your Premiership, should you be elected?

That said, all the best for your election!

I think one problem is that we do not fully use our size and visibility consistently enough when it comes to the WA. TSP has a lot of influence simply because of how large and active it is, but sometimes that influence feels passive rather than organized. I’d like to see more consistent communication around WA votes and broader participation from the community, through OWL advertisement and encouragement campaigns, and awarding active WA discussion participates with involvement in the OWL team (i.e advisors). It’s not really a whole singular project, but more of a decentralized web of ministry objectives that help in bridging the gap.

Another issue is that there can be a disconnect between gameside WA nations and the broader offsite community. A lot of nations vote without really interacting with the region beyond that. I think better integration can help bridge that gap so WA participation becomes more tied into regional involvement overall.

Yes, I do. For the SWAN and WA Integration thing, I’m assuming you mean greater WA participation and endorsing. Like I said in my previous campaign, it is an objective of a portion of the ministries, not really a specific one. We should encourage WA participation whenever we welcome someone to the region and campaign for a WA endorsing culture (i.e through the Getting Involved wizard, welcome messages, etc..). For OWL, simply mentoring people to write their own GA/SC proposals will naturally evolve into a more vibrant WA culture.

For the onsite/offsite divide, I think it is one of my ultimate goals. First of all, a consistent cabinet-wide RMB interaction culture is a good start, to make sure everyday gameside people are interacting with the government. Another thing, which I already do as MoI, is try to keep all information I put out available through the RMB, forums, and Discord. That way, all of our members are kept in touch and can easily access the information that they need.

As for Defender activity, I absolutely want to support stronger cooperation with aligned regions and help newer members get involved. Like I said above, I will coordinate with my Minister of Foreign Affairs to establish deeper relations with our allies and introduce new relations with other regions of interest.

My core priorities would be culture, integration, and overall activity. I want to make participation easier, more visible, and more rewarding for both new and established members. That means improving onboarding, supporting consistent community activity, strengthening recruitment and retention, and making the government feel more open and connected to the region as a whole, through a presence on all forms of TSP communication (NS, forums, Discord). I won’t just prioritize these ministries and neglect the rest; I want to make Defense more systematic and rigid rather than a informal system. I will strive to louden (is that a word?) our interregional stage in Foreign Affairs, etc..

More broadly, I want to continue building a government that is organized, sustainable, and approachable rather than overly bureaucratic or disconnected from the community. I want to have a reliable and stable cabinet that works collaboratively to achieve a greater, more active, and more connected region.

Bumping again for visibility purposes.

As the votes are closer and closer to commencing, I hope you’ll consider me when you cast your ballot. If you want a hard-working, adaptable, and a Prime Minister looking to create a stable government that is connected to the region, vote for me!

Anyways, now that I’m done with advertising, have a great day and good luck to all of the other candidates. It seems like there will be no questions for me besides any PM debates that happen (if that happens in the first place.)

Which region or organisation is the toughest one for us to deal with diplomatically??

I’ll not answer this question for obvious FA reasons (as stated by Utopia to the same question)
